Life moves so fast. My poor little car has been in the shop twice this week (and it's only Tuesday!), but it should be fine now. I hope.

I work too much and I can't wait for the summer to come around, I want go to the beach. I mean the snow is fun and I think I'm going to go skiing this weekend, but nothing beats a day at the beach surfing. And sleeping. One can never get too much sleep. With any luck Izzy is coming with me this weekend, and when Danae comes form from Italy she'll come visit me. Can you believe it's been almost 4.5 years since I've seen Danae? I can't.

I wish my life were more interesting. Oh and the dog is in trouble again, he has officially eaten 2 pairs of jeans, numerous socks, underwear and bras as well as my lucky sweats. I know what a brat right? But he's pretty cute all cuddled up next to me sleeping right now. Little dogs are amazing, and I'm pretty sure I want my Corgi now. Anyone recommend a good breeder?

My last three dogs (minus this little monster) were from the pound, but I want a purebred puppy. And it's hard to find from the pound. Not to mention I want a show dog and you can't get that from the pound either.

I think I'm done for now.

The Major Players

I suppose I should give an overview of who I am.

My name is Persephone, but everyone calls me Peep. I am 21 and am a college student at CSUCI. I love Greek mythology and am currently studying Romana nd Egyptian mythology for fun. I am an English major (which is funny because half the time I can't spell myself-though I think that's because my fingers move quicker than my brain). I love celebrity gossip-it's my guilt pleasure.

My best friend in the world is Danae. We met freshman year of high school and were instant friends. She moved across the country the summer we went into sophmore year and she is currently studying in Italy.

My boyfriend is Evan. We've been together for nearly 4 1/2 years. We get into epic fights but at the end of the day were truly in love and that's not going to change. He is truly supportive of me and I of him. Our relationship is complicated but I wouldn't have it or him any other way.

My best friend in California is Ismene or "Izzy". We met our freshman year of college and it was "love at first sight". We are truly inseparable and I don't know what I woulddo without Izzy especially with Danae nearly unreachable.

Pat is Izzy's boyfriend. He accompanies us on almost every adventure. We do like him, very sweet and funy and he can deal with us beating him up all the time. He's always up for some mischief.

Coda/Dude is my dog. He's a 10 yr old Jack Russel Terrier and I've had him since he was 5 weeks. I love him to death and he is my life saver.

These are the people whom I talk to/see the most of. I can't imagine my life without these wonderful people.

So I'll probably either edit this post later or post a new one at the end of the day.

Reminder to self: the Duck-Mobile needs to go in to the dealership on Monday (the wiring is so completely shot it makes me wanna cry)

Legends of an Oublie Fleur

The day to day ramblings of a girl lost somewhere between a child and a woman, a lover and a friend, and imagination and reality.

This is just me and my life. My mistakes, my triumphs, my dislikes and my loves. I live my life day by day and I hope that one day my experiences can provide insight, inspiration and maybe a few lessons for someone else.
